Way back in 1988, IRMA records of Bologna released his first single Kekkotronics & LTJ entitled First Job.
30 years have passed since that day and we are now in the moment of recovery of the sounds of those years, rediscovered by those who then lived them but above all by young lovers of Dance music and the origins of House Music.
Among those who wrote the history of the Italian House is certainly Carlo Troja, aka Don Carlos. In 1991 Irma Records released her first single Alone which immediately became a cult record for DJs from across the Channel and especially American DJs. Its particularly soft and environmental sounds defined as a genre that was then called Paradise House.
And it is precisely from this genre and from this DJ that Irma Records begins the celebrations of its thirty years by offering a selection of its catalog chosen by DJ Don Carlos, trying to dig among some of the pearls of the genre but above all among some songs that have characterized his evenings but they had less popularity at the time of their publication.
The compilation consists of two compact discs and a triple vinyl version with a selection of 18 of the 22 tracks contained in the CD and Digital version.
Included artists and producers: Ricky Montanari, Flavio Vecchi, Claudio Moz-Art Rispoli, King Britt, Angelino Albanese, Danny Losito of Double Dee, Francesco Farias of Jestofunk and the stage names of Riviera Traxx, Key Tronics Ensemble, Subway Ground Master, Love Nation, Nu Model, Aritmya, Centric House, Deep Aural Penetration, Outphase, House Of Blue, Omnivores, Montego Bay, Underground, More Heavy Soul, The Loop Experience, Soft & Loud Music Enterprise, and TFM.
